When you choose the "Restroom Unrest Alert APP" service software (APP) published by Aurismart Technology Co. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company" or "Aurismart"), you are entrusting your personal data to the Company with confidence, and we are committed to safeguarding the security and privacy of your data.
First, we explain the Company's privacy policy.

This Privacy Policy is established to help you understand how the Company collects, uses, and protects the personal information you provide. When you begin using the Company's services, it means that you have clearly understood the Company's privacy protection mechanism, and have been informed by the Company of the purposes of collecting, using, processing, and transmitting personal data, the categories of personal data, and the period, region, recipients, and methods of using personal data, and you consent to the aforementioned notified matters.

The categories of personal data collected by the Company within the software service include:

Audio data (including background access):
This application continuously monitors abnormal sounds through the microphone while the device is in background mode (including when the screen is off), to ensure that it can issue an alert in real time. This monitoring is used only for recognition and will not perform unrelated covert recording:
Edge Computing: Audio content and most detection-related data are mainly processed within the user's device and will not be uploaded to the Company's servers.
Operating mode: Only when the user has enabled the notification function and an abnormal event is detected will the system send a text notification of the "recognition result" and the necessary audio clip to the notification recipient designated by the user. Except for the technical processing necessary to complete the transmission, the Company will not use it for any other purpose.
Audio data will not be used for advertising, marketing, or cross-application tracking purposes.
Location information (GPS) (including background access):
This application uses location information only after obtaining your authorization. In order to provide the location to the designated notification recipient in real time when an abnormal event occurs, even if your phone is in background mode or the screen is off, this application needs to access the background location permission. The purposes include:
Detecting whether the device has been moved;
Providing approximate location information to the notification recipient when an abnormal event occurs.
Except for the processing necessary to provide the notification function or maintain the operation of the service, the Company will not use the location data for advertising or other non-essential purposes.
Account and device information:
Collecting the user account (or identifier), device code, operating system version, and application instance identifier.
Purpose: Used for login identification, account management, device pairing, subscription verification, service operation and maintenance, and information security management.
Data retention and deletion:
Audio clips: Temporary audio clips sent to the server will be retained for 7 days to confirm the authenticity of the event, and will be deleted upon expiration.
Account data: Retained until you apply to delete your account.
Exception: Transaction records and subscription records required under tax law or platform regulations (Google / Apple) will be retained for the period required by laws and regulations.
You may apply to delete your account through the settings menu within the App, and we will remove your identification information within 30 days.

V. Specific Purposes of Personal Data Collection

The personal data collected by the Company within the application is based on the following specific purposes:

Marketing and promotion
Customer management and service
Provision of information (and communications) services
Information (and communications) and database management
Information and communication security and management
Survey, statistics, and research analysis

VI. Use of Personal Data

Period of use: The Company will continue to use the personal data you provide until the date you request cessation of use or the date the application service ceases to be provided.
Region of use: Within and outside the territory of the Republic of China (except where prohibited by the competent authority).

To request deletion (of account and data).

If you wish to request cessation of collection or deletion of your account or personal data, you may apply to delete your account directly through the settings menu within the App, or contact the customer service team by email. After your identity is verified through a certain procedure, we will process it immediately.
Please note that if you choose to stop the processing of, or delete, some necessary personal data, it may result in the Company being unable to continue to provide you with complete services.

VIII. Protection of Personal Data

1. The Company will store your personal data in full in a secure data storage system, with strict protective measures to prevent access by unauthorized personnel.
2. Any relevant staff of the Company who violate confidentiality obligations will be subject to sanctions under relevant laws and the Company's internal regulations.
3. To protect the integrity and security of your personal data, the data processing systems that store your personal data are all equipped with various information security devices and necessary security protection measures.
